Wow, i missed last week's releases. Call it a first folks, all of us here at teamdvd were thrown into confusion. Please forgive us. Let's take a look at what's comin atcha on the 15th.

Maybe it's just me but i really didn't see anything special in this TV movie. They all seem to follow a formula where the first two hours are OK, rising hopes just enough to bring them crashing down with the next two hours. Sigh... anyway, this disc includes cast bios, production notes, and a making of documentary. Dobly surround sound with what i would assume to be standard formatting.

This was one of those movies that just didn't appeal to me at all. I have no interest in seeing Jessica Lange play a psycho mom over Gwyneth Paltrow. Maybe it's me... The disc includes both widescreen 1.85:1 and standard formatting, with a DD 5.1 track in english. Extras include... a theatrical trailer.

Ok now we have something! Universal's giving this CLASSIC film the SpecEd treatment! Well, i happen to think it's a classic, but it may be just me. Aside from this great film in full scope (2.35:1) anamorphic with Dolby Surround sound, they throw in screen tests, the theatrical trailer, production notes, and a Making of documentary, featuring everybody and anybody who worked on this great piece of work (which, believe me, IS everybody). I kow i've ordered mine, what are you waiting for!?

Man, this sucks. The one week i miss is jam-packed with great releases while this next week nothing comes out. A few notes about last week... Dead Alive is a great film, i really want to get my hands on that Wild Things disc, the Thing is a classic, and i wouldn't mind seeing Primary Colors. oh well... that's what i get for being indisposed i guess.
